		In addition, MDH—in partnership with the Minnesota Rural Water Association, Minnesota Public Works Association, and Minnesota Section American Water Works Association—has been conducting workshops and other training to assist utilities in performing vulnerability assessments of their water treatment facilities and distribution systems.
		Minnesota’s public water systems have been active in source water protection efforts over the last 10 years, and 2003 will be an important year for source water protection in Minnesota, as source water assessments will be produced for all of the state’s public water systems this year.
