The difference was the perimeter shooting, as McMaster was good on 7-for-12 from long range, while the Warriors were 0-for-9.

The McMaster women's volleyball team hit the court in Waterloo on Wednesday night and defeated the host Warriors 3-0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-17.) With the win the Marauders improved to 6-2 in conference play good for second place in the OUA West division.

In front of a live national broadcast on Raptors NBA TV, the McMaster Marauders men’s basketball team won the inaugural Raptors Invitational Tournament, Presented by Sprite, while York University captured the women’s title.
Both teams struggled to find their offence in the early stages of the first half as teams were adjusting to playing on an NBA court.
