When I started providing services to clients, I registered more, like mcwordsams.com, mcwordswr.com and even mcslp-home.com for my personal stuff.

The firm has seen its prefix used to coin such terms as McMansions, McPaper (for USA Today) and even McWorld, a theory of what might happen if individual cultures disappear, replaced entirely by U.S. culture.
By calling attention to the term McJobs, McDonald's marketers may have misstepped: The attention may further popularize its usage and breed other - even less flattering - McWords.

Dictionaries reflect contemporary usage — they describe rather than prescribe.
And as Dennis Baron, a professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, said back in 2003: "If lexicographers allowed individuals or pressure groups to dictate definitions, then our language would be reduced to mere McWords."
The American psychologist Frederick Herzberg said: "If you want someone to do a good job, give them a good job to do."€ That is not always so easy in an era of automation and efficiency, when employers deliberately seek — often unwisely — to simplify and de-skill certain jobs.
