	'Me, Myself and Irene'
		One of my co-workers was "creeped out" by the images of Jim Carrey on the cover of the press kit for his new movie, "Me, Myself and Irene." Funny, but the movie had the same effect on me.
		"Me, Myself and Irene" offers such knee-slappers as male sexual appliances, a man with a chicken's head rammed up his butt and enough use of the f-word (and the mother of all f-words) to fill several David Mamet plays.
		As for Irene, she's more of a plot device -- someone for Charlie and Hank to play against, a target for the sexual humor.

		Irene (Renee Zellweger of "Jerry Maguire"), who blows into town and is promptly arrested on an outstanding warrant from upstate New York.
		Unfortunately, little does Charlie realize that Irene is a potential witness in an investigation of Environmental Protection Act violations, in which the local sheriff (Chris Cooper of "American Beauty") is involved, and is using the outstanding warrant to 'silence' her.

		Irene is embroiled in some sort of big business/police cover-up deal that’s way too detailed for this kind of film.
		Irene was originally supposed to be about Siamese twins (played by Carrey and Woody Allen) that fall for the same girl, but that idea was scrapped when Allen didn’t sign on to the project.
		Irene is narrated by Rex Allen, Jr., who, like William Preston Robertson in Raising Arizona and Sam Neill in The Big Lebowski, uses a slow Southern drawl to tell the story via flashback.
