Mean Business - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mean Business is a studio album by The Firm, released by Atlantic Records on April 2, 1986.
Repeating the same bluesy formula as the debut album, Mean Business did not achieve the same commercial success despite sellout tours.
The album's title was intended to have a double meaning: that the music business is a hard one, and that the band was serious about its music ("The Firm mean business").

Business ethics Did You Mean business ethics   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-31)
While there are some exceptions, business ethicists are usually less concerned with the foundations of ethics (metaethics), or with justifying the most basic ethical principles, and are more concerned with practical problems and applications, and any specific duties that might apply to business relationships.
Business ethics aren't identical to the philosophy of business, the branch of philosophy that deals with the philosophical, political, and ethical underpinnings of business and economics.
Business ethics operates on the premise, for example, that the ethical operation of a private business is possible -- those who dispute that premise, such as libertarian socialists, (who contend that "business ethics" is an oxymoron) do so by definition outside of the domain of business ethics proper.

 "They Mean Business"
In a world in which every business school talks about "globalization"-just as your local steakhouse now probably serves something it calls "pasta primavera"-a claim to competence in international business has become less a means of differentiation than a requirement for respectability in the marketplace.
In addition to the international business bachelor's, the development of other interdisciplinary programs, and the increasing academic stature of the university as a whole, the college has two strong selling points in the undergraduate markets: cooperative education, and an undergraduate student body of increasing diversity and quality.
And in business education, both the case method and, increasingly, various forms of field-based learning are now virtually ubiquitous at the graduate level.

Board members can raise money from other individuals or businesses much more successfully if they can show that they think the organization is important enough to give their own money.
Please note that individual volunteers may not receive a tax deduction for the value of their time; incorporated businesses, professionals (e.g., lawyer or CPA), or self-employed (e.g., plumber or electrician) are eligible to receive a tax-deduction for contributing their services—if they receive the written acknowledgment.
This means all organizations funded by state monies at any level must open their meetings to the public.

Mean Business really hints at what type of ego Dunlap has, through his continual boasting about his accomplishments in creating shareholder value.
Chainsaw, on the other hand, expands on this, showing what type of a tyrant this man is, ruthlessly screaming at employees for hours on end (and even sexually harassing one of them) and expecting them to at his beck and call.
