Jemtia Field Ranger Regiment, or Jämtlands fältjägarregemente, also I 5 or I 23, is a Swedish Army infantry regiment that traces its origins back to the 17th Century.
The regiment has its origin in the Angermannia, Medelpadia and Jemtia Regiment raised in 1646 in the newly conquered province Jemtia, although the men were mostly recruited in the old Swedish provinces Angermannia and Medelpadia.
The regiment was also called Thomas Gärffelt's Regiment after the first commander.
