Parents need to know that this series is appropriate for even the youngest viewers because its plot is slow, the characters are gentle, and the claymation animation is pleasant.
The series' premise is about helping others -- illustrated by the time devoted at the end of the show to singing a ditty called "The Helping Song." There's nothing offensive here, but if your child is only allowed to watch a limited amount of TV, know that there are much more educational programs out there.
The characters are very pleasing to the eye, and the Australian accents are cute to listen to, but the show often lacks substance.

DIRELAND: LYNCH-MOB "JUSTICE" ENCOURAGED BY U.S.-FINANCED IRAQI TV
This is one of the most appalling TV shows one could possibly imagine, for it blatantly encourages lynch-mob justice and individual acts of revenge against alleged "terrorists"--who are presented as such without benefit of any trial or judicial proceeding.
One of the most hate-inducing aspects of this TV series: the confrontations between alleged victims of the "terrorists" or their families, and those who are supposed to have committed the crimes against them.
However, it is the use of U.S. taxpayer dollars to fund a TV show that encourages violent, extra-judicial revenge on people who have not been tried or convicted of any crime that stands in sharp contradiction of the Bush administration's claims to have successfully exported "democracy" to Iraq.
