Providing Wisconsin medical students with hands-on experiences working in Wisconsin communities or with specific patient populations to address a health concern, integrating their knowledge of resources available through state and/or federal agencies.

The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW), which is located in suburban Milwaukee, is currently the third largest private medical school in the nation.
In 1978, MCW relocated to a new teaching and research complex in suburban Milwaukee on the campus of the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center.
