Meeting system - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A meeting system is any systemic means of improving meetings, workshops or conferences.
There are many such systems, of which one of the best-known is probably Robert's Rules of Order, which is applied in parliamentary debate and corporate meetings in many English-speaking countries.
When used in political or economic contexts, meeting systems are very often associated with a voting system.

Electronic meeting system - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
An electronic meeting system is a suite of configurable collaborative software tools that can be used to create predictable, repeatable patterns of collaboration among people working toward a goal.
With an electronic meeting system, each user typically has his or her own computer, and each user can contribute to the same shared object at the same time.
Electronic Meeting Systems were originally developed in the 1980's by researchers in the Information Systems department at the University of Arizona under the leadership of Professor Jay F. Nunamaker, Jr.

Meeting and conference rooms will not be available before the scheduled starting time and rooms must be vacated promptly at the time designated on the reservation form.

The use of genre analysis in the design of electronic meeting systems
Electronic meeting systems deal mainly with communication, which suggests that there may be an opportunity to apply genre analysis to the design of electronic meeting systems, something we have not seen done in the past.
When discussing the schema, we associated a pattern with the meeting genre system: the logistics and agenda precede the meeting, and the meeting is followed by the report (we use the terms 'precede' and 'follow' in a loose way).
However, considering that the genre system is specialized according to the community, the electronic meeting system may be tailored to comply with the established patterns.

Clearwater Public Library System - Meeting Room Policies
Meeting rooms are intended to further the library's mission by facilitating the exchange of diverse information and ideas.
When a meeting room is not being used for a library or city activity, the space will be available free of charge to the public for governmental, civic, cultural or educational programs or meetings provided by non-profit or community groups and organizations.
Meeting rooms must be left clean and in the same condition as they were prior to the meeting.

 The Open Meeting
Given the anticipated character of the meeting's textual environment, the web was a self-evident choice for data entry and display in the system, but the distribution of computer resources among the prospective users made email access as equally self-evident.
Since one purpose of the Open Meeting was to create a framework for conversations accross traditional organizational boundaries, the system needed to track the interactions of participants as representatives of their organizations.
Because the hypertext was fully categorized, the system knew the exact category combination required to subscribe to any node, and consequently, the users were freed from the need to specify the category combination themselves or for that matter to learn how to specify these in the first place.

 Section Meeting: Computer System Security
The initial system designers view the system as a collection of requirements and specifications and need to be able to perform some early analyses to estimate the expected security.
Potential system users may additionally consider attributes describing the environment and context for the system, such as distribution and age, to provide some indication of the expected system security based on historical information provided from similarly classified systems.
The assessments made from these initial two perspectives will frequently be refined as a result of experience with the system or from experimentation to emulate the actions of an attacker on actual systems to improve the estimates of either crossing or circumventing the security barriers in the system.
