Mega Man ZX Nintendo DS Video Game Review by AceGamez
The characters (all of which have some sort of robotic costume, if not actually are robots) also make heavy use of the large palate, with shades of every color to bring out all their mechanical details.
Obviously, Mega Man has a few notable differences when compared to the Metroid and Castlevania series, one being the high level of difficulty, but Capcom's inability to fully commit to adapting their game to this new style ends up undercutting the advantages of pursuing the combination in the first place.
Mega Man ZX is not a bad Mega Man game by any stretch; the wonderful presentation and tried-and-true game play will easily appeal to long time fans of the series who have yet to grow tired of what Capcom has to offer them.

 Mega Man X6 - GameCritics.com
Mega Man fans may want to rent this title just for the sake of trying it out, however I highly recommend against buying this game, as it is simply not worth its price.
Even though Mega Man was one of Capcoms most popular series on the NES, its little blue hero had to face the fact that if he wanted to survive, an eventual transition to the 16-Bit generation was inevitable.
Mega Man X6 (MMX6), the newest sequel, shows what happens when a game attempts to glorify itself with needless extra features which in this case resulted in what I consider to be the worst title in the X series.

The first Mega Man X title is an excellent example of a game that's still simple platforming fun in an era of high resolution 3D, and when Capcom decided on their inevitable sequel, they didn't screw with what wasn't broke.

 Mega Man X Collection Review
Mega Man X was an attempt by Capcom to push the Mega Man character in a different, more mature direction.
Mega Man X could assimilate weaponry, as did his younger version, but could also acquire new abilities, as well as don different suits of armor that would give him even more power than before.
In short, Mega Man X was a renaissance, a time of change that would allow gamers who grew up with the original Mega Man the chance to extend their gaming careers with a character who also seemed to mature with the times.

Mega Man Battle Network 5: Double Team Nintendo DS Video Game Review by AceGamez
NINTENDO DS While the commercial success the Mega Man franchise has enjoyed over the last twenty years is undeniable, it is almost inevitable that there will come a point when such a colossal videogame icon will be chucked into a game (or several) that is not even half as special as the character's debut outing.
As a Mega Man fan, I was sorely disappointed to play a game that does the character so little justice; while as an RPG fan, I found every area of the game - the battles, the exploration, the puzzle solving and the story - shallow and uninspired.
Mega Man wasn't broken, yet someone had the bright idea of getting some severe jiggery-pokery done and what we're left with is the likes of Mega Man Battle Network 5: Double Team.

 Mega Man X...iHygenic.com
Mega Man, or Rockman as the character is known in various countries including Japan, is the hero in a series of video games made by Capcom for various Nintendo and other gaming consoles.
Despite the different storyline and characters, gameplay is very similar to the original series, with several exceptions (most notably, X and Zero can cling to walls, and Zero is armed with a beam saber rather than the traditional "buster" gun.) Mavericks replace the Robot Masters, and Sigma replaces Dr. Wily.
Mega Man is a Digger, an archaelogist, meaning that he goes into underground ruins, searching for remnants of a lost civilization for a living.

“Mega Man” is the name of a video game character, and the games in which he stars.
As Mega Man gained in popularity, Capcom decided to branch out and began creating games of other genres, such as sports and racing.
As time went by they also created several spin-off series, all of which have “Mega Man” in their title but all of which actually have very little to do with Mega Man. Some of the series are related to each other, however, as described below.

Homemademech - Mega Man 15th Anniversary: Ride Chaser with Axl toy reviews
The basic design is what you'd expect from a Mega Man character, huge boots and forearms, the standard helmet shape, the same all around proportions.
The design is really angular and aerodynamic; it strongly resembles the speeder bikes that appear in many of the Mega Man X games (as it is probably supposed to).
The bike consists of a large solid front nose section that is mostly green and has a long triangular shape and a rear section that is hollow on the bottom with two large disk wheels attached to the other side.

Mega Man's already had a decent run on the Nintendo DS with last year's release of Mega Man ZX, but that just doesn't cut the mustard for Capcom.
The graphics in Mega Man ZX Advent look familiar to the first game, using a 2-D graphic engine that brings out vibrant color and detail on the DS.
Mega Man ZX Advent looks like a winner thus far, especially to those who loved the original games and the previous Mega Man releases before it.

Mega Man ZX Nintendo DS Review - Modojo: Nintendo DS Reviews, Previews, Cheats, News, Games, and More
It blends the familiarity of the Mega Man X play formula with a world map that resembles the Metroid and later Castlevania games, and fans may appreciate this approach a little more than the basic action route.
The gameplay's not really all that different from Mega Man X games of the past, but it's still very functional, and has a great old-school flavor to it.
I still prefer Mega Man Maverick Hunter X for the PSP over Mega Man ZX for the DS, merely because I prefer the straight-up blast-anything-that-moves approach compared to this exploration business.
