Melete was developed with support from The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation under the direction of Vivie Sinou, Dean, Learning Technology at Foothill College.

Melete is the first external, lightweight Sakai tool that will be fully integrated and included in Sakai 2.0 in June for the entire higher education community.
