 PunkROCKS.net CD Review - Melmac - 11:34
Melmac is one of those bands that immediately grabs your attention; a flawless mix of punk and ska that roots itself in melodic punk and incorporates ska elements with such precision, that I can only wonder why the fuck no label has beaten down their door as of yet.
Lyrically, Melmac leans to the fun pop-punk style, without falling into the idiotic sophomoric lyricism that plagues many bands of that genre; relationships abound in the words here.
Melmac is the type of band that should not have to "find a label"; like SLAB etc., they should be sought after by label reps that still search for the fire and passion inside a band.
