E had just purchased World Championship Wrestling at the time, and in retrospect, Bryan is sure that his small stature played a role in his release, as the WWE had picked up so many cruiserweights in the purchase of WCW.
And while he loves wrestling, if it were to leave his life tomorrow in the blink of an eye, he surely would be sad, but in the grand scheme of things, he realizes that wrestling is only a small part of his existence.
If he were to stop wrestling one day, he states, with a smile, he would be a "professional relaxer." And as far as the WWE goes, he would love to follow Kendrick back if the chance arose but is not sure if that is in the cards.

Memphis Championship Wrestling - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Memphis Championship Wrestling (MCW) was a professional wrestling promotion ran by Terry Golden, based in Memphis, Tennessee.
It was employed as World Wrestling Federation (WWF) developmental territory, so the roster was made up primarily of wrestlers being groomed for the primetime or those that had already been established there but were returning from injury.
Unlike MCW, the promotion is not currently a WWE developmental territory but does have good relations with them as several contracted WWE wrestlers have appeared on their arena shows.

After wrestling in the PWF, Killings spent some time in NWA Wildside where he was known as K-Krush.
Wrestling as K-Krush (at least initially), Killings would be booked as a heel, battling Brian Christopher, brutalizing Norman Smiley and even clashing with race car driver Hermie Sadler.
None of that matter by August 7th, 2002, however, when Killings (wrestling under his own name once more) defeated Ken Shamrock to become the first African-American to win the NWA World Championship.

Memphis Wrestling is a professional wrestling promotion based in Memphis, Tennessee.
In-studio wrestling has also been a mainstay of Memphis television since the early 1950s, with Memphis Wrestling maintaining this tradition.
These should not be confused with another similarly named promotion called Memphis Championship Wrestling - a former World Wrestling Federation developmental territory - that ceased in mid-2001.

Forming Frontier Martial Arts Wrestling (FMW) in July 1989, Onita made it clear that his promotion was based on the blood and guts side of wrestling and set about staging inhumane gimmick matches and stunts, many of which Onita was the willing guinea pig.
Of course, all these beatings have took their toll on 'The Innovator of Offence', as his constant back pains will tell you, but Dreamer is still able to put together a decent match, all be it in a gimmick match.

Jerry O'Neil (The King) Lawler (born November 29, 1949 in Memphis, Tennessee, United States) is a professional wrestler and wrestling commentator.
He is perhaps best known not for his considerable wrestling skills, but for a much-publicized feud with Andy Kaufman that was later revealed to be completely contrived ("a total work" in wrestling parlance).
A celebrated "grudge match" between the two at Memphis' Mid-South Coliseum represented a rare example of theatrical make-up blood actually being found in use at a pro wrestling event, since the match was being taped for an NBC television program documenting the rise in popularity of pro wrestling.

Every week, the Memphis TV revolves around Lawler and Hart, which, while novel in the beginning for nostalgia, has gotten as old as the tights Dundee was wearing on TV Saturday.

The book is a personal account of Cappetta’s experience in and out of the ring as one of wrestling’s more important in-ring announcers.
Cappetta sheds light into the mysteriously private world of professional wrestlers that he describes as “a game of deception” in which performers regularly take advantage of each other, promoters ruthlessly lie and cheat to maintain power, and where the ultimate “con” has nothing to do with what goes on inside the ring.
Cappetta says that the Calloway story is a good example of how “some of the wrestlers feed on the younger guys.” In addition to Cappetta’s experiences with the wrestlers, the book describes Cappetta’s own dealings with the television executives who hold a power over the performers.
