Middle Men - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Tolkien, Middle Men was a term used by the Númenóreans for Men of Middle-earth who were related to the Edain, the ancestors of the Númenóreans themselves.
When the Númenóreans returned to the coasts of Middle-earth in the Second Age, they found a people who spoke languages which were distantly related to the Númenórean tongue, Adûnaic.
During the Third Age the term Middle Men was still applied to the Men of Bree, and the remaining Northmen, such as the Men of Dale and Esgaroth the Lake-town, and of course the Rohirrim.

The Istari were thus sent in the guise of old men, who by their counsel and wisdom, rather than their great power, would move the peoples to resist.
Even worse, the brutish Men, working now for a mysterious Sharkey, had taken all the produce and business of the Shire, doling it back out as they saw fit to the very hobbits from whom they had taken it.
Even so, the Orcs and wild men of Dunland would have defeated their foes had Gandalf not summoned help that was utterly unexpected.

SuperstationWGN.com TV A trip to Middle Earth via London
Whether you know nothing about Middle Earth or can distinguish the Riders of Rohan from the men of Gondor at 50 paces, this exhibit is an intriguing and dazzling chronicle of how novelist J.R.R. Tolkien's story came to the big screen.
The exhibit, housed in one large room, is organized mainly by character, with each section devoted to a different race of Middle Earth.
The exhibit also describes how the spectacular scenery shown in the movie (which has single-handedly boosted New Zealand tourism) was scouted and used to create Middle Earth.

 Men by JRRT
The Men who went south with the Elves were named the Dúnedain, the Men of Westernesse, for their island was called Westernesse, which in the Elvish toungue was Númenórë.
But Men were stubborn as a race, and they bread more quickly than any other people except the Orcs, and though great numbers perished they multiplied again and finally thrived in the eastern lands, and so by some were called the Usurpers.
In the Noldorin language they first called Men the Atani, the "secondborn", but later, as the greater part of Beleriand spoke the Grey-elven toungue, they were more commonly known as the Edain, the "second ones".

In "Lord of the Rings" Middle Earth is being taken over by a dark race (the orcs) and these simple-minded and aggressive orcs are being controlled by an even greater force.
So basically I hope that one day, like in Middle Earth, the Caucasians will prevail, and not have their societies destroyed by invading armies of evil, satanic peoples.
Obviously Middle Earth is based on medieval Europe, so that is just one of the many reasons why it is so great.
