Beirut-based carrier MenaJet signalled it is in business when its maiden flight took off for Dalaman on Turkey's Mediterranean coast from Beirut International Airport yesterday.
The chartered flight, undertaken by MenaJet on behalf of Lebanese tour operator Nakhal, took off with a full load of 155 passengers hours after the aircraft was received at Beirut airport.
It was greeted by senior officials, representatives of MenaJet, and of its two principal shareholders, the Bahrain-based Islamic investment bank, Gulf Finance House and the Al Zamil Group on Thursday evening, a release issued yesterday said.
