	Mercedes Benz 300SL "Gullwing" by Bburrago
		Mercedes re-entered motorsport after World War II in 1951, not initially in Formula One (which they would enter again in 1954) but in the arena of sportscar racing.
		Mercedes overcame this by designing a body with upwards opening doors, which due to their profile when open gave the car it's nickname of "Gullwing".
		All told, Mercedes produced 1,400 Gullwings between 1954 and 1957, when the similar roadster model was introduced.

		The Mercedes-Benz W201 was a smaller automobile introduced in November 1982 as the Mercedes-Benz 190E.
		High performance models were developed for rallying but a change in the rules opened the door to 4 wheel drive models, Mercedes choose not to re-engineer the car and so turned their attention to the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) motorsport series instead.
		The 190 was in the small executive class in the UK and Europe and competed with the Audi 80, BMW 3 series and the Saab 900.
