Merfolk are the most common aquatic race on Aquela, found throughout the waters of the Lesser Rift and the Ataqim archipelago.
Merfolk adventurers are often frustrated by this head-in-the-sand attitude, and leave their communities to face threats or explore regions that their kinsfolk would prefer simply to ignore.
Merfolk suffer double damage from fire, and are instinctually terrified of it.

As far as i know, merfolk are out because they are aquatic creatures and it didn't make sense for them to fight against land creatures, that seems logical, i don't aprove of it, but logical.
