Merritt Butrick as T'Jon in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode Symbiosis.
Merritt Butrick (September 3, 1959 in Gainesville, Florida – March 17, 1989 in Los Angeles, California of AIDS) was an American actor who was best known for his role as Captain James T. Kirk's son David Marcus in the movies Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan and Star Trek III: The Search for Spock.
Merritt was diagnosed with brain cancer (and AIDS) and succumbed to the disease in Los Angeles, California on March 17, 1989.

The rest of his fame rests in playing the son of Captain James T. Kirk in the Star Trek: The Wrath of Kahn.
After appearing in a string of minor roles in a string of minor films in the late 80s, Butrick was tragically diagnosed with brain cancer and Aids.
