	Message in a Bottle Movie Review by Anthony Leong
		While "Message in a Bottle" certainly aspires to be one of those sweeping romances, it falls short of that lofty target, leaving a somewhat muted feeling after the lights in the theater come back up.
		While the film is certainly awash in spectacle, with many panoramic vistas of the eastern seaboard gracing the screen, the core of the story, the romance between Garret and Teresa, lacks emotional resonance.
		Other than some nice scenery and some interesting character bits from the supporting actors, "Message in a Bottle" is an overly-long and emotionally-manipulative piece of fluff.

		ok, the movie is most definatly great, ill give it that, but i have to say that you are missing out on so much of the meaning if you dont read the book.
		although the movie is excellent and you can live the passion through these two characters, the book goes in so muc detail and you get tyhe full grasp on everything with Catherine, and dodge, and Theresa, and Garrett...you wouldnt believe the difference.
		This movie was just one movie i picked up off the shelf at the video store, i had no clue how much it would touch me. I cried so much during it, but the tears were worth it.

		Theresa being a researcher helps a lot when she decides to track down "G." The stationary and clues that G lives on the Outer Banks of North Carolina and that he sails are helpful.
