My Messor barbarus ' colony have now 150 workers, they didn't hibernate during this winter, the queen continued to lay eggs during this period, the temperature in my appartment is always 22 - 25 °c.
I will go to Kenya next April to find Messor cephalotes, during the rainy season may be I will be able to observe the mating of this species...
