Although Magnitogorsk is situated closer to the Urals-based pipe plants, the move to redistribute OMK’s procurement between the two steelmakers will put heavy pressure on Magnitogorsk to find alternative outlets for its product.
The announcement of the tie-up between Severstal and OMK is also being interpreted in the industry as a sign that Severstal has been using its cash reserves behind the scenes to create the OMK holding, unifying the pipemakers as a huge downstream reservoir of demand for Severstal’s products.

Metallurg needs one point to be for sure 3rd and to play with Omsk (look higher and understand why I see Omsk –6th for sure).
Anyway, Metallurg needs a point, but 1.32 is anyway risky, so may be better to play –1 at @ 1.95, odds are higher that in Dinamo game; we had the same price for –1.5 and now for –1, so it is a value.
Metallurg should pass by Omsk rather easily, and at last Bars should be a hot favorite, I hope and I will definitely take at @ 2.5 and higher Loko’s promotion.

NEW YORK — A Russian hockey club filed an antitrust lawsuit Thursday against the NHL and the Pittsburgh Penguins, saying rookie Evgeni Malkin shouldn't be allowed to play in the league because he remains under contract in his native country.

The lawsuit, filed after a Russian arbitration panel ruled that Malkin is still under contract to Magnitogorsk, said the signing of Malkin to an NHL contract was a "blatant and deliberate tampering and interference" with the Russian team's existing agreement.
