My most recent scorecards are built using a Metapost program, which I also used for the figures in the scoring guide.
The Metapost scorecard is similar, but it only has room for six pitchers, and doesn't allow you to keep track of their statistics.

For those knowledgeable in the Metapost language, the default line types and colors can be changed by editing the arrays lt[] and col[].

While it is possible to use MetaPost to generate Type 3 PostScript fonts, the intended application is generating figures for technical documents.

The files saved for openning drawings in MG will be text-files, probably included in the metapost file.

My very opinion is that this language is very natural, easy to handle, almost never tricky (when one wants to do tricky things, he always does it in tricky way).
I've seen so many drawings where circles were not of the same size even if they were supposed to be so, where paths or lines did not join other elements even if they were supposed to do so...
