 | | Out of all the big name sequels that have appeared or are appearing this year such as Burnout 3, Half-Life 2, San Andreas and, of course, Halo 2, you'd be forgiven for not noticing that Nintendo have quietly slipped this game out in time for Christmas. |
 | | And this is an enormous shame, because Metroid Prime 2 doesn't just equal some of these games but in many cases surpasses them, and is easily one of the best games of the year. |
 | | This time out the more traditional Metroid powerups of the freeze beam and the wave beam are gone, replaced with the dark beam and the light beam. |
