Curfew was imposed and Rapid Action Force (RAF) deployed in Mhow town near here late last night as violence broke out following the murder of a 17-year-old boy, the police said today.
As the news spread about the murder of Dipesh Kahar, kidnapped two days ago following a dispute during a cricket match, a mob hurled petrol bombs at police vehicles and caused a blast in the Kirwani Nagar area, suspecting his killers to be living there.
As violence rocked Mhow, two persons, including one of a minority community, were killed in nearby Ashapura and Chourdiaya villages but the police ruled out any connection between the incidents.

We went through Mhow for most of our trips, the Patal Pani one when we ate at the Bakery near the Indore checkpost, the Sheetala Mata one when some of us took photos with a tank and the Maheshwar trip.
In my first visit to Mhow this term, we discovered Kerala restaurant (now fondly called the Mallu mess) just opposite the football ground and had a feast.
Not to forget, there is a Lotus restaurant in the basement of Mhow Coffee House just after the Dreamland theatre where you can eat dosas as they have a South Indian cook.

MHOW: Mhow, the birthplace of Babasaheb Ambedkar, will be renamed after the architect of the Indian Constitution soon and his memorial, being constructed here, would be completed by April 14, 2002, Madhya Pradesh chief minister Digvijay Singh announced here on Saturday.
Addressing a gathering here after paying respects to Ambedkar on occasion of the latter's 110 birth anniversary, Singh said a proposal to rename Mhow, will be sent to the Central government shortly.
Referring to steps taken by his government for the welfare of the scheduled castes and scheduled tribes in the state, Singh said Madhya Pradesh was the only state which has set up a monitoring cell to keep track of cases being registered and action taken on the complaints of SCs and STs.

 Officer sets bus afire: Army orders inquiry
The army on Wednesday ordered a Court of Inquiry into an incident in which a Major allegedly set a school bus on fire on Tuesday at Mhow in Madhya Pradesh in retaliation for non-payment of dues to his teacher wife.
All the children had escaped unhurt but the bus driver had received 35-40 per cent burn injuries in the incident that occurred in the Mhow cantonment area near Indore.
