 Will Smith - Biography
The success of the song Men in Black sent Smith back to the studio to make the well received album Big Willie Style, which contained songs like Miami and Getting Jiggy Wit It.
Smith was always ambitious though, and despite fame and fortune at a young age, he wanted more, so he approached Warner Bros. executive, Bunny Medina about pursuing an acting career.
Smith came to represent a new breed of rappers that did not need explicit language or violence to entertain listeners.

 Inner Circle
Inner Circle, most known for "Bad Boys," the theme song for Cops, and the not-so-recent movie Bad Boys with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, have not changed their style very much.
If it is possible to ignore such adolescent songs, there are a few decent songs and if the listener is in the right frame of mind it is possible to picture themselves in Miami with Inner Circle sipping on a margarita.
As much as this album could possibly be, Inner Circle has not transformed much since "Bad Boys." Most of the songs on this album are "Bad Boys" but with different lyrics and by any means are not truly responsive or current with music that has been released recently.

 Aug. 30th-Miami,Fl.
Dry ice is a great metaphor where the Cure is concerned. The willowy smoke that seeped onstage Friday at Miami Arena bore some resemblance to the big, gauzy sound plied by Cure founder Robert Smith and his bandmates.
Vocally,Smith was true to his stuffy-nosed whine. He sang without a spotlight ("Robert doesn't like spotlights in his face," a member of the arena's technical crew explained) and seemed quite cheery - smiling, accepting bouquets and touching extended hands during the band's eight-song,half-hour encore.
Newly enlivened songs Why Can't I Be You?,Fascination Street and Just Like Heaven throve under Smith's economical guitar riffs. As musicians, this version of the Cure is the most impressive Smith has assembled.

 Music Meltdown - December 10, 1997
Smith scored a hit over the summer with the title track on the "Men in Black" soundtrack, and that song is on the new album, but the highlights are by far the debut single, "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It," and "Miami," two songs celebrating Smith's transformation from goofy rapper to smooth operator.
Klark Kent, while supposedly alien, captures the very essence of early '80s pop: songs about mundane experiences thrown together with delusional schizophrenia.
Kent is the alter-ego of Stewart Copeland from the Police, although he vehemently denies it.
