 Bachelor Preserve Images Hiking Trail Miami University Oxford Ohio
This is a classic SW Ohio trail and reminds me very much of the trails at many state parks in Ohio.
The land for the preserve was donated to Miami University by Joseph M. Bachelor who was an English professor from 1927-1945 and acquired the land during his tenure.
Throughout my college days at Miami (1981-1985) hiking the trails was a get away and I would treat myself to a hiking trip after my last final of the semester was over.

Three Miami University students died in an early-morning off-campus fire Sunday, April 10, at a two-story brick student rental house located three blocks north of uptown Oxford, at 122 N. Main St.
Miami officials met with survivors from the house early Sunday morning to provide emotional support and to offer on-campus housing and other emergency assistance.

A college review that is unbiased and tells it the way it is. The author is a Miami alumnus and is very proud of her alma mater although she does recognize the stereotype associated with Miami.
Miami University is in Oxford, Ohio and the author does a great job with this book.
I am a student at Miami University of Ohio and purchased this book at the barnes and nobles at home over christmas break, and have to tell you that this book is incredibly accurate and useful to anyone interested in Miami U of Ohio or anyone who is already a student.

 Federal Review Sought In Miami University of Ohio's Handling Of Sexual Assaults
Oxford, Ohio-A national campus safety watchdog organization, Security On Campus, Inc., announced Thursday that they are calling for a federal review of how Miami University of Ohio handles campus sexual assault cases.
The complaint, filed on behalf of a former student who was sexually assaulted on-campus in October of 2003 charges that the school has improperly withheld from sexual assault victims the written final results of disciplinary action taken against their alleged assailants.
"It has become clear to me that the Office of Judicial Affairs of Miami University failed to follow appropriate policies and procedures concerning my sexual assault case," she added.
