		Michael Bolton (born Michael Bolotin in New Haven, Connecticut, February 26, 1953) is an American pop, rock and adult contemporary singer-songwriter known for his soft rock ballads and powerful singing voice.
		Bolton was born in 1953 to a Jewish family in New Haven, Connecticut.
		Bolton found his biggest success in the mid-eighties and early nineties as a solo vocalist in the adult contemporary/easy listening genre.
