Michael Richard DeWine (born January 5, 1947) is an American politician from Ohio, where he was born and lived until he was elected to the United States Congress.
On May 23, 2005, DeWine was one of fourteen moderate senators to forge a compromise on the Democrats' use of the judicial filibuster, thus blocking the Republican leadership's attempt to implement the so-called "nuclear option".
Michael Garver Oxley (born February 11, 1944) is an American politician of the Republican party who serves as a U.S. representative from the Fourth Congressional District (map) of Ohio.
