Michael Ingham and the Diocese of New Westminster timed their outrageous act right after the Brazil Primates' Meeting so as to challenge, defy and mock all the Primates of the Anglican Communion, including his own Primate, Archbishop Michael Peers.
Because Ingham and his Diocese have wilfully acted outside the 2,000 year-old bounds of orthodox Christian doctrine and practice, we regretably acknowledge that they have taken themselves out of the Anglican Communion until by repentance they may return to the full fellowship of the Anglican Communion.
Furthermore, actions of this unacceptable nature warrant the immediate provision of orthodox episcopal oversight for the beleaguered parishes and their parishioners of New Westminster by someone competely independent of Ingham and his Diocese.
