An expert on banking regulation and on economic sanctions, Professor Malloy came to McGeorge in 1996 from Fordham University, where he was a member of the law faculty for nine years.
A prolific writer, Professor Malloy has authored or edited more than 70 books and book-length supplements, including his three-volume treatise, Banking Law and Regulation, his casebooks International Banking, and Banking and Financial Services Law, treatise, U.S. Economic Sanctions: Theory and Practice, and his hornbook Principles of Bank Regulation.
Professor Malloy was recognized by the University of the Pacific as Distinguished Faculty of the Year in May 2000.
