Michael Nader (born February 19, 1945 in Los Angeles, California) is an American actor, best known for his role as Farnsworth "Dex" Dexter on the nighttime soap Dynasty, a role he played from 1983 to 1989.
Nader gained a daytime audience, playing Dimitri Marick on All My Children from 1991 to 1999 and from 2000 to 2001.

I'm assuming for the sake of argument that, of Nader's 2.8 million voters in 2000, about half are lost causes -- devoted dialecticians who won't allow facts to pass through the doors of their little theoretical straw huts.
First, if it was the intention of Nader voters in New York or Massachusetts (or any state Al Gore was certain to win in 2000) to send a message to the Democrats, that's an understandable and respectable intention.
Among people who were directly affected by which candidate won, Nader was seen as the ornament of frippery that he was.

Nader claims he was "ready, willing and able" to make his comeback in March 2001, but ABC "encouraged" him to remain on leave.
Nader eventually pleaded guilty to a reduced charge and was sentenced in May 2001 to three years' probation.

Today a federal circuit court judge refused to consider placing Ralph Nader and Michael Peroutka on the Hawaii ballot, saying it would be too expensive to order the state to reprint the ballots.
Nader is already on the state ballot via his petition drive under the Peace and Justice Party, so he will have two lines on the state ballot.
On the issue of whether Nader should be eliminated from the ballot because one of his candidates for presidential elector didn't live in the particular congressional district, the vote to keep Nader on the ballot was 5-4.

Well as much as I abhor Michael Moore and all that he stands for, I would like to see him shed those pounds and adopt a healthier lifestyle.
Perhaps if Michael Moore lost some weight by adopting a healthy diet (focusing on natural foods) and getting plenty of exercise (such as brisk walking), he wouldn't be such a hateful and unhappy person.
