Michael Portnoy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Michael Portnoy is a New York based multimedia artist, choreographer, musician, actor and director of behavior.
Portnoy continued to "dance" for about 40 seconds, making odd grimaces, his eyes often closed as if in a trance, until security realized he wasn't part of the show and escorted him off-stage.
Portnoy had been hired to simply stand in the background with other dancers and bob his head to the music to "give Bob a good vibe".

Portnoy, a principal in the labor relations firm of Portnoy, Messinger & Pearl, became involved in the corporation's formation in late 1987 when Marilyn Stern ?- the daughter of a deceased friend ?- asked him for help in locating a job for her husband, Michael.
Under the circumstances, the district court was correct to rule that for Portnoy to rely upon the promises of Stern and Watkins was a reckless disregard of the risk that RSR was not in compliance with the FLSA.
Portnoy maintains that the present action may be distinguished from Northwest because his claims of contribution and indemnification against co-employers comport with the purpose and policy of the FLSA, more than Northwest Airline's claim for contribution against an employee union comported with the purpose and policy of either Title VII or the Equal Pay Act.

 Purr - Pigshit
First of all, the local New York media, sensing a cute (albeit temporary) Lewinsky diversion afoot, immediately tracked down the stage-crasher and identified him as Michael Portnoy, a 26-year-old self-styled performance artist slash musician residing in, of course, Greenwich Village.
Portnoy was one of just over forty "bodies" hired (after an impressively thorough screening process, I must add) to bop and swoon on stage as Bob sang his big Grammy number.
Portnoy admitted as much, along with the more-than-interesting tidbit that, subsequent statements to the contrary from "official channels" notwithstanding, his dance and even his infamous chest message were duly discussed and actually APPROVED with all and with sundry Â…BEFOREHAND.
