Michel Pablo (Greek: Μισέλ Πάμπλο; August 24, 1911 - February 17, 1996) was the pseudonym of Michalis N. Raptis (Greek: Μιχάλης Ν.
Raptis himself continued with the European International Secretariat of the Fourth International, operating from Amsterdam and Paris.
In 1961 Raptis was finally sentenced to 15 months imprisonment, and liberated at the end of his trial.

As regards Michel Raptis, he was a genuine revolutionary and a very knowledgeable Marxist, regardless of whether you agree or disagree with his ideas.
Raptis was involved in the Greek communist movement from at least 1930.

Michel Pablo, aka Michel Raptis, was best known for his ability as an underground organizer; perhaps for these talents he was selected to head the Fourth International in 1943.
