Middleport, England - a concise overview
Middleport is a distinctive North Staffordshire community alongside the Trent & Mersey canal.
Tourism is now England's third largest industry, and so Burslem is lucky to have both a very rich cultural history, an authentic medieval street layout, a townscape which totally escaped the 're-developers' of the 60s & 70s, and major modern leisure attractions at Festival Park.
Middleport and Longport are bordered by the Trent & Mersey Canal.
