Midrasha is an after-school or Sunday morning (depending on site) supplementary Jewish education program for Jewish high school students that includes 8th-12th grades.
Midrasha offers local school programming in Oakland, Berkeley, Walnut Creek and Fremont as well as an offsite informal program of retreats that is designed to bring students together from all of the local campuses.
Midrasha is accessible to the entire Jewish community.

Community Midrasha of Durham and Chapel Hill, NC The Community Midrasha is a Jewish high school program in North Carolina that originally combined the education program of the synagogues in Durham and Chapel Hill.
Midrasha students are also invited to join Rabbi Friedman and the cast for a special half hour question and answer/discussion session after the performance, ending approximately 4:30 pm.
Based on the beloved novel by Chaim Potok and produced by Theatre Or, a new North Carolina Jewish professional theatre, The Chosen is about the relationship between Reuven, the son of a modern Jewish intellectual, and Danny, the son of a Hasidic rabbi.

Community Midrasha is a pluralistic Jewish learning community for teens in grades 8-12, bringing together each year over 125 teens representing the diversity of Jewish life in our community – affiliated and unaffiliated; Reform, Conservative, Reconstructionist, Humanist, and just plain Jewish – to learn and to explore their Jewishness with enthusiastic adult teachers.
