  Welcome to the Midwest Conference
Five of the six berths in the 2005 MWC Volleyball Tournament have been filled as Beloit, St. Norbert, Lake Forest, Monmouth and Illinois College have all qualified to compete for the Midwest Conference’s automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament.
Four teams remain in the hunt for the conference championship and the home-court advantage that belongs to the tourney’s top seed.
The Midwest Conference site was created in February 1999 and the first full season of coverage was the spring season.

 2005 Midwest ECO Conference
The purpose of this conference is to gather students, faculty, and other companions of community psychology for a weekend of invigorating discussion and community in a relaxed atmosphere.
Conference presentations that encompassing any aspect of community research and social intervention are welcomed, although we especially encourage submissions addressing this year’s conference theme.
The 2005 Midwest ECO conference represents a chance for discourse and reflection on the use of community research and social intervention research as a means to enact social change.

 Covenant News - Midwest Conference Names Benedict to Associate Role
Benedict will be one of two associate superintendents in the Midwest Conference, working out of the Kansas City area and serving congregations in Kansas and Missouri, according to Supt. Kenneth Carlson.
Benedict was selected by the Midwest Conference Executive Board and is expected to begin his duties in July.
The conference's other associate superintendent, Rick Mylander, is expected to eventually serve from a Colorado location yet to be determined.

In 2006, the Conference will be held from April 20-23.

Early 19th century Historic Indian sites in the Midwest are notoriously difficult to identify from surface assemblages and can be easily confused with EuroAmerican settlements of the same time period.
Information from recent ITARP investigations and earlier excavations are combined to present a composite summary of the mortuary and biological characteristics of the Hoxie Farm burials.
Native material culture of this time period in the Midwest is especially poorly understood from an archaeological perspective.
