		"Mighty Baby" definitely has some of late-60s psyc sound, but it's rooted in strong song compositions, not free-form acid guitar and organ excursions (not that I have anything against those!).
		The eight tracks from the original "Mighty Baby" album would make the purchase worthwhile, but the CD version also has five bonus tracks from the related band "The Action." These cuts have a more pop flavor---sort of a less glossy Strawberry Alarm Clock---and are also quite enjoyable.
		Originally released in 1969, Mighty Baby apparently had several members (most,in fact) formed this band from The Action.

	Mighty Baby
		It would have been hard to make a sequel to that one, given that the nature of romantic comedies is to have all the appropriate cast paired off at the end, and the only way to make another film would be to break the pairings.
		And while the idea of stashing your baby into a self-contained capsule might appeal, as it apparently did to B. Skinner (the famous psychologist), the theme of "What babies want" didn't grab me much.
		Babies want food, clean bottoms, and cuddles, as far as I can tell, and while they are probably necessary for the continuation of the species, they don't have a place in romantic comedy.

	Mighty Baby (2002)
		Her presence throws the office in an uproar, as the office gets overrun with tykes, all angling to be test subjects for whatever wacky design inventions Wayne and Johnny come up with.
		Given all that, it seems as if the filmmakers had no idea what they were doing, and passed the time by thinking up new and more bizarre ways in which to amuse themselves and possibly the audience.
		And, it must be mentioned that the babies are amazingly cute.

		Hong Kong Lau Ching Wan and Louis Koo return as the two male leads of 'Mighty Baby' and are joined by Gigi Leung, Carina Lau (who has more of a cameo role here) along with new additions Cecilia Cheung and Rosamund Kwan.
		'Mighty Baby' is a comedy that enjoys a massive 'ahhh' factor due to the presence of scores of ridiculously cute Oriental babies.

		Judging by other reviews, Mighty Baby is yet another 2002 Hong Kong movie that fails to live up to expectations -- an A-list cast and crew that gets B and C-list results.

		So (that's when) we changed our name to Mighty Baby.' This encounter not only inspired the name change but it took their take on 'India' into another strange route.
		There might also be a proper CD re-issue of the second Mighty Baby LP A Jug Of Love which was bootlegged on CD a few years back and has gone for a king's ransom for some time on the collectors' market.

		Mighty Baby also played on lots of other albums, including Reg King's and others on Head.
