(Mighty Mouse and the Pirates) In operatical mode, Mighty Mouse has his first encounters with his new girlfriend Pearl Pureheart, and his soon to be arch nemesis, the cat Oil Can Harry.
The character was originally called Super Mouse, and his costume was initially very similar to Superman's, even down to the colour scheme (it would eventually change to the yellow version at a later date).

I had a mouse years ago that had one, but it was a bit stupid and more prone than the MM in getting dirty.
I’ve used the Apple one button mouse and really disliked it, so I’ve steered clear of the MM on the basis that it was too similar - it seemed a compromised solution to avoid admitting that two button mice were best.
