Not being nearly the expert on the Giants that you are on the Dodgers, I was puzzled by your choice of Mike Donlin as the “best representative of the team’s personality.” I would have expected Ott.
Donlin just seems like a rather unusual choice considering that he only played parts of six seasons with New York and only really two complete seasons.
To me when I hear someone mention the New York Giants, he just wouldn't be one of the first dozen or so names which pop to mind.
