Hallett is just the third head coach in the 14-year history of the football program at Thomas More College.
Hallett was also instrumental in the program's second appearance in the NCAA Division III Football Championship in 2001, when the team set a new school record for wins with an 11-1 season.
Hallett is the second-longest tenured coach in the history of the program, trailing only Vic Clark, who spent nine seasons with the team as the head coach from 1990-98.

One has a name plate that has the Mike Hallett legend picked out in red the other has the name in green along with the words "custom built for" and the then address of the company who made the cue, mine is the red plate version.
I am not sure whether Mike had been having cue difficulties for a while but as a spectator from afar this match seemed to be a key point in his decision to seek a new and more suitable piece of equipment to compete with.
This cue with it's plaque which explains that it was custom built for Mike Hallett along with the photograph from the original advertisement in Pot Black make this one of the few cues commissioned by a former leading professional player that has become available to collectors in recent years.
