4/28/04- Sheboygan, WI; West Virginia NOHVCC State Representative Mike Pinkerton was severely injured this past Saturday night while walking back to his hotel near Fairfax, Virginia where he was attending an outdoor recreation conference.
What's left of Pinkerton's left arm is bandaged, and he suffered minor fractures to the skull and slight bruising of the brain.
His co-workers at the Hatfield/McCoy Trail system, where Pinkerton serves as Marketing Director, speculate that Mike will be off work for about a month.

Mac.Ars recently caught up with Mike Pinkerton, the lead developer on the Camino project.  Mike has been doing Mac development since high school, and has authored Mac shareware programs such as Aurora and ColorKey.
Mike Pinkerton: Camino started with some work back in late 2001 that Vidur Apparao and I did to prove that we could embed Gecko in a Cocoa application.
Vidur wrote the obj-c embedding wrapper and I wrote a version of Gecko's Widget library to use Cocoa instead of Carbon.

Despite the new OS X build, Mike Pinkerton, lead developer of the Mozilla team says that Netscape's primary mission right now is to ship Netscape6 for OS9 and "we cannot do anything to jeopardize that plan."
And I'm greatful for Mike Pinkerton taking his time to keep Fizzilla going.
I think the only reason we have Fizzilla is due to the hard work of Mike Pinkerton.
