Mike Tice was named assistant head coach/offense for the Jaguars on February 1, 2006 after spending 14 seasons with the Minnesota Vikings as a player and coach.
Tice, 47, has 24 years of experience in the NFL with 14 as a player and 10 in the coaching ranks.
Tice was the recipient of the Byron "Whizzer" White Humanitarian Award in 1987.

Mike Tice (born February 2, 1959, Bayshore, New York) is an NFL coach, best known as the former head coach of the Minnesota Vikings.
Tice took over head coaching duties on an interim basis for the final game of the 2001 season, replacing Dennis Green, and then was officially named head coach on January 10, 2002.
Tice had regretted that he had not had a chance to directly tell his wife, who was already addressing rumors in the parking lot following the Vikings victory.

Tice, the league's lowest-paid coach at $1 million per season, is entering the final year of his contract with Minnesota, and his job security was an ongoing issue all of 2004.

I like how Mike Tice did his press conference in a t-shirt, he looked like he would be cleaning up the place after he was done.
Tice came off as pretty ticked at the podium, reminding everyone how the Vikings had the second best record in the NFC for the past three years or something like that and he knows someone will want to hire him because he likes to teach.
Mike Martz can write up some plays, but the guy is a dork of a coach.
