	Mike Tramp - More To Life Than This
		The following Mike Tramp solo albums I do not own, but I have heard them (and like them) but in all honesty: this is my first real encounter with this extraordinary voice and the songwriting craftsmanship that comes with it.
		The songs here are much more laid back, and in my opinion reflect a 'coming of age' that Mike's entitled to after years of hard work in major rock bands.
		From the opening and title track "More To Life Than This", where Tramp uses a Bruce Springsteen-like way of storytelling, through to the cleverly titled "The Good The Sad And The Ugly" where - indeed - Tramp moves from Good to Ugly in a verse-by-verse manner, the songs are outstanding rock tunes.

		I thought I remembered seeing something about this long ago and as much as I can rely on my memory, I probably already listened to it and wrote it up, but it may as well have been fourteen years ago for all the good it'll do now.
		But without being too judgmental on Tramp, easily one of the more identifiable voices in Rock, not many veterans of the shunned decade that was the eighties have been able to impress on their own let alone any successive bands their allotted with.
		Well kudos to Tramp for not highlighting only their "Greatest Hits" moments which was already done several years ago and let's be frank, there weren't that many anyway.
