Mikhail Vladimirovich Rodzianko (1859-1924) was President of the Russia Duma from 1912 until the outbreak of revolution in 1917.
Rodzianko was born in Ekaterinoslav, on 9th March 1859, the son of a wealthy landowner.
Rodzianko was regarded as a moderate Octobrist deputy - a factor which served to alienate him to both the Tsar, Nicholas II, and (moreover) to the Tsarina, Alexandra.

Rodzianko's paternal great-grandfather, Mikhail, was the last speaker of the pre-Revolutionary Duma and the Bolsheviks sought to eliminate him and his family because of their noble background and political leanings.
After the 1917 Revolution and the beginning of the civil war, Mikhail Rodzianko took up arms against the Bolsheviks and Red Army, moving from St. Petersburg to the south to join the White Army as adviser to famed tsarist general Anatoly Denikin.
Rodzianko was chosen in November 2001 to run Deutsche Bank Moscow's corporate finance and relationship -management divisions.

Alexander Palace Time Machine - Boy who Dreamed of a Palace - Bob Atchison
Last summer, Bishop Basil Rodzianko of the Orthodox Church in America performed a memorial service in Russia for the Romanovs in their family church near the Alexander Palace.
Three days later, Bishop Rodzianko, accompanied by Atchison and his committee, led a spontaneous prayer service in the palace's semicircular hall, where the Romanovs had spent their last night before being taken to Siberia.
His- tory had at last come full circle: Bishop Rodzianko, whose grandfather led the state assembly that demanded Nicholas's abdication in 1917, was now bringing religion back into the palace.

The Executive Committee of the Soviet also argued that the order had been issued in agreement with the Temporary Committee of the State Duma and thus could not be considered as an order competing with the authority of the government.
This version was disputed by Mikhail Rodzianko, the chairman of the State Duma, and it is true that there is no reference to the agreement of the Duma in the document, which was issued in the name of the Petrograd Soviet of Workers, and Soldiers' Deputies alone.
Many have claimed that the worst error the Provisional Government made was to decide to continue the war against the Central Powers: with a peace in 1917 that was not too onerous, they would have won time to consolidate their position and drawn the sting from the propaganda of their worst internal enemies.
