Miki Ando (安藤美姫, Andō Miki, born on December 18, 1987) is a Japanese figure skater.
She is a two-time national champion (2004, 2005) and was the 2004 Junior World champion.
At the 2002 Junior Grand Prix Final, Ando became the first female skater to successfully complete a quadruple salchow jump in competition.

Japan's ace skater Miki Ando has vowed to bounce back for a qualification for the Olympics after her disastrous performance at the Grand Prix series NHK Trophy figure skating competition.
The 17-year-old Ando, the only female skater to have performed a quadruple in competition at the 2004 world junior championships, fell twice in her free skating to finish fourth Saturday.
But Ando, as well as Nakano, earned a place in the Grand Prix Final later this month in Tokyo and she is likely to be chosen for the Olympics by the Japan Skating Federation if she finishes among the top three.

Ando's 3axel attempts that I witnessed during JGP Montreal practices last September looked pretty close (two-footed but pretty much fully rotated).
So, I would guess that Miki Ando, Mai Asada and Aki Sawada will be 3 of the Japanese ladies assigned to Junior Grand Prix this fall (Mao Asada won't turn 13 until this fall and has to wait until the fall of 2004 to compete as a junior internationally).

In this book, both Yukina Ota and Miki Ando recounted their experience at 03 Junior Worlds.
Miki Ando skated badly in the SP and was quite crestfallen when Carolina came and gave Miki a hug and said "You will do wonderfully in the LP." Miki Ando credits Kostner for being absolutely sincere and by her action teaching Miki what maturity means in terms of competitive figure skating.
