After Mikolaj Zebrzydowski’s death in 1620 the work was continued by his son, Jan Zebrzydowski, who, in the years 1623-1641, built five further passion chapels (Eastern Gate, The Kidron Chapel, 1st Fall of Jesus Christ, The Cyrenian, and Veronica), eight Marian chapels (1632): four of Mary’s Burial and four of Mary’s Triumph.
It was Mikolaj Zebrzydowski who procured the title of Our Lady of the Angels for the main church in the front altar of which he put Her silver statue.

Jan Mielecki (1501-1561), Stanislaw's son was a voivode of Podole as well as the Great Royal Marshal; he commanded a squadron of horse in common defence in the years 1526 to 1555 and he leaded as a borderland hetman the Royal Army in Inflanty at Pozwole in 1557.
However with time, the Mielecki were loosing their position, their property as a result of numerous divisions dispersed and at last this meritorious family died out without progeny in 1771.
Next owners of the town, after the Mielecki were in 2/3 the Ossolinski family and the remaining part was in power of the Morsztyn family.

Mikołaj Mielecki (died 1585) was a Polish nobleman and Politician.
Since 1569 Mielecki was the voivod of Podolian Voivodship, between 1578 and 1580 he also served in the Polish Army as the Grand Hetman of the Crown.
One of the most notable partisans of the Habsburg faction in Poland, since 1562 he took part in various military campaigns to Moldavia under command of Mikołaj Sieniawski.

The name is mentioned quite late, in a tax-list, at the start of the sixteenth century, among the hamlets on the estates Rzocho which belonged to Stanislaw Tarnowski.
But the magnate, Tarnowski, master of the castle and the village, already owned the city of Rzechow, and to his heirs already belonged the city of Tarnow, and one branch of the familywas occupied with fortifying the city of Tarnobrzeg, known as Dzikow.
The new owner of the estates became their patron but had no intention of transforming the village into a city since he had already long been the owner of the city of Mielec with its Renaissance-style castle.

With this letter I am sorry to inform you about the death of another great man, and to pay my condolences to the great Radziwill family.
The 28th May of 1587 died Mikolaj Radziwill, former marshal and grand chancellor of Lithuania.
Luckily he died calmly in his sleep in the palace he had lived and worked in exile under the many years after the end of the war of mockery.
