For a dark mild ale (according to Designing Great Beers) you can use 10 to 15% crystal malt (your choice I suppose), and 2 to 3% chocolate or 1% fl malt.
Corn is apparently used in 12 out of 68 commercial milds accounting for an average of 11% of the grist.
I think 30-40 IBU is a little to much for a Mild.
