William Miles Malleson (May 25, 1888 - March 15, 1969) was a British actor and dramatist, particularly known for his appearances in British comedy films of the 1930s to 1950s.
They were divorced in 1929 and Malleson later married Joan, who died in 1956.
Malleson was also a writer on many films, including some of those in which he had small parts, such as Nell Gwyn (1934) and The Thief of Bagdad (1940).

Miles Malleson was born in 1888 so he would have been 70 when he was chasing these two young ladies around.
To me, Miles Malleson (pictured above) was one of those actors who, seemed, whatever you saw them in, to be positively ancient - I would include Moore Marriott, A E Matthews, Felix Aylmer and Kynaston Reeves in this category.
