FORT HUACHUCA -- The Military Intelligence Corps Association wants to see if a new building can be found or constructed for a Military Intelligence Museum on this Army post.
The guest speaker at the event, Jerry Proctor, deputy commandant of the Intelligence Center, said the association is an important vehicle that supports the Army's military intelligence branch.
The association will start a new program next year to recognize the Military Intelligence Soldier of the Year, which will be done at the annual Military Intelligence Hall of Fame ceremony, Bruns said.

In 1981, CSM Hall was assigned to the 328th ASA Company, 502d ASA Battalion, in Augsburg, West Germany, where he served as Service Platoon Sergeant, Operations Platoon Sergeant, Field First Sergeant, Training Noncommissioned Officer (NCO), and NCO In Charge (NCOIC) of the Processing, Control, and Analysis Section.
CSM Hall graduated from the Sergeants Major Academy in 1989 and again returned to Fort Bragg to be the Command Sergeant Major of the 9th PSYOP Battalion.
CSM Hall's final assignment was as the CSM of the Third U.S. Army and U.S. Army Forces Central Command (ARCENT), Fort McPherson, Georgia, from June 1996 to his retirement on 21 January 2000.

The hall is part of a campus-wide effort initiated by each of Stanford's four ethnic community centers at the suggestion of trustee member, Charles Ogletree, as a means to highlight the contributions of the university's many outstanding alumni of color.
Selections to the Hall of Fame are based upon nominations by Stanford alumni, staff, faculty, and students and are made by a committee composed of two National Chicano/Latino Alumni Association representatives, two representatives of El Guiding Concilio (El Centro's advisory board), and a member of El Centro Chicano's staff.
The pictures and biographies of Hall of Fame members are displayed at El Centro Chicano and serve to motivate and inspire future generations of Chicano/Latino students.
