Christina Kopp received her BA in history and music from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May of 1999.  After writing her senior thesis on the role of music on the American home front during World War Two, Chrissy became particularly interested in American cultural history.
During the academic year of 2002-03 she studied at Louisiana State University, where she did additional research in the fall of 2003 for her Master's thesis on the representation of slavery at the River Road plantation museums.
